BECAUSE OF RECENT HEAVY RAIN IN TEXAS, MOST OF OUR GRAPE VINES SENT WILL HAVE SMALL HOLES DUE TO INCREASED SNAIL POPULATIONS FROM THE CLIMATE. THE HOLES MAY BE UNSIGHTLY, BUT NOT DAMAGING TO THE OVERALL HEALTH OF THE PLANTS/CANES.

The pleasant sip of a glass of homemade wine is a surefire way to unwind. More and more, the hobby of home winemaking is catching on, and it all begins with the perfect grape. Talbott Nursery & Poultry offers a selection of grapevines for sale, plus muscadine vines to encourage wine lovers across the nation to enjoy their hobby.

Choose from any one of our fine grapevines for wine grapes. No matter your preference, we’ve got you covered. From Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and more, you’re sure to find the right vine according to your taste. In addition, we offer grapevines for snacking grapes, including Concord, Fredonia, Niagara, Edelweiss and many other delicious varieties. Enjoy the juicy fruit or simply take in the bold colors that our grapevines and muscadine vines provide! Plants are shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and sometimes on Saturdays. Most plants will be sent bare-root wrapped in wet sphagnum moss with a plastic bag, then secured with tape for security and sent via USPS Priority Mail. Mars Grape vine bears early in age if allowed. Versatile and fast growing, a grapevine can bear in just two years. This grape needs full sun and tolerates a wide range of soil conditions, but must have good drainage. Mars, an introduction by the University of Arkansas, is one of the most resistant grape varieties to black rot and mildews. Fruit ripens in August
