Browse all bougainvillea varieties to find the right match for you. Enjoy streams of pink, royal purple, orange, gold and more as they cheerfully blossom! We carry 1" starter plugs that are 3"-7" tall, in small sizes that are great to place into a 4" pot, or order two or three plants for a gallon pot or hanging basket. We also offer varieties in 1-gallon, 3-gallon and 5-gallon sized plants. When shipped: Plugs are in small cups and need to remain in cups when planted, with roots able to extend from the bottom hole or from the top. Plant the plug in its cup in good potting soil and keep it moist and in partial shade for 10 days or so. (Removing the plants from the cups could damage tender roots and voids any guarantee.) Bougainvillea plants are very easy to grow and will tolerate all types of soil and watering, although the plants enjoys slightly acid soil (5.5-6.5pH) and a dry/wet type of watering. Note: Bougainvillea plants will grow new shoots and get larger with good water and fertilizer, while restricting water and fertilizer will have a tendency to initiate blooming.
