VALENCIA ORANGE-Citrus sinensis Valencia Zone: 9a

1. Primarily grown for processing and orange juice production
2. Valencia oranges have seeds, varying in number from zero to nine per fruit.
3. Its excellent taste and internal color make it desirable for the fresh fruit markets, too.
4. The fruit has an average diameter of 2.7 to 3 inches (69 to 76 mm; 6.9 to 7.6 cm)
5. After bloom, it usually carries two crops on the tree, the old and the new.
6. The commercial harvest season in Florida runs from March to June.
7. Worldwide, Valencia oranges are prized as the only variety of orange in season during summer.

  We sell all Citrus, orange trees, lemon trees, lime trees, and grapefruit trees. Since January of 2018 we only sell Citrus in 5 gallon pots, but we designate 5 gal and 7 gal sizes so that the 7gal size designates older larger trees with calipers of the trunk over 3/8 inch or larger and the smaller trees as only 1/4 inch caliper and smaller. The 7 gal trees are not much taller, but are bushier and as mentioned a larger in caliper in trunk size.
